Article: "7 is my lucky number. So is mine. Mine also!!!.... But is it lottery lucky?"

25 November 2007
It's just happens that many of us believe that number 7 is a lucky, magical and powerful number. On the contrary, number 13 is considered to be unluckiest of all which is coincidently backed up by the UK National lottery draws - so far number 13 is one of the less frequent numbers ever drawn!

For many people, beliefs like these are reflected in the way the lottery combinations are selected.

Camelot, the UK National Lottery official draw operator, no longer publishes a list of most commonly played combinations as it used to, however when it did, combinations with all numbers divisible by 7 were present in such lists.

Unlike the Irish lottery, where all six numbers Read more

Well done to all participants, we hope you do even better soon enough!! Overall, the combination drawn tonight appears to be a good random combination having a high Lottorino score of 94%. Low Lottorino and no jackpot winner!

22 November 2007
Wednesday 21 November 2007 Lotto combination of 6;8;24;25;32;47 was downgraded to 7% by Lottorino as the sum of its numbers (142) was equal to the sum of numbers from the previous draw taken place on Saturday 17 November 2007.

No jackpot has been won, so it's a Rollover! All the best, everyone!

In this case, the odds were improved three fold by Lottorino.Let's just hope we hit a valuable prize soon!

Article: "Catchalotto's view on why you should never play 1;2;3;4;5;6 in Lotto"

3 November 2007
A while ago Camelot, the UK National Lottery Official Operator, used to release combinations that were played most commonly. Unsurprisingly, combination 1;2;3;4;5;6 was one of them in that it was entered into each Lotto Draw by many people. And by many we mean thousands!!! If we recall correctly, at some stage there were about 10,000 tickets purchased for each Lotto draw containing this combination. This brings to the reason number 1 why such combination should be avoided like the plague.

REASON NUMBER 1:

There are so many tickets being bought containing combination 1;2;3;4;5;6, the jackpot payout would be very low indeed should this combination win!
