Merry Christmas and a lucky New Year!

16 December 2010

Merry Christmas from Catchalotto

  • Ladies and gentlemen, let us recall
  • How the year of the Tiger treated us all
  • It wasn't as good as we all hoped and prayed
  • No lotto jackpots came our way!¹
  • Not to despair, keep believing in fate
  • Good things come to those who ... wait!
  • Two thousand eleven is the year of the Bunny,
  • Let's wish for it to be very sunny,
  • And happy and joyful, and healthy, and booming
  • And Britain's economy no longer gloomy
  • Despite leadership change we had this year
  • From labour to conservatives, but frankly who cares!

  • Let's wish two thousand eleven becomes our friend
  • That'll make us see things right through to its end
  • Our aim is simplistic - to beat the odds and win the whole deal
  • So let's raise this toast with our Christmas meal:
  • “Bunny, oh bunny, please hop our way
  • And bring us happiness, health and don't go away
  • Until we all hop our way to Camelot
  • Because our syndicate pocketed the lotto jackpot!”
  • We shall now wrap up, enough said already
  • Time to make a move and start getting ready
  • For the greatest celebration that we're all so enticed
  • Meeting the Santa?! Jokes aside! The birth of Christ!
  • Chritmas tree, poinsetta, mulled wine, mistletoe,
  • Big tasty turkey, roast and much more!
  • Merry Christmas to you! God bless you and your grotto!
  • Sincerely yours, with love - Catchalotto.
  • ¹This is not technically correct, as the year of the Tiger finishes on the 2nd of February 2011. So the Tiger still has time and may prove us wrong! We hope he does!
