Let's wheel some lottery numbers for Wednesday's draw, shall we?

Those of you who are new to the concept of lottery wheeling, please refer to Golden Rules - Rule 5 for a brief explanation. Here, let's get practical, let's do some wheeling for this coming Wednesday, 4th of November lottery draw. Please note that unless these combinations are played in Situla lottery syndicate, these are all theoretical plays. The purpose of it all is to explain how lottery wheeling works.

There is an overwhelming number of lottery wheels available, here we are going to use a 12-number wheel that generates 22 combinations and guarantees 4 out of 5 win. This means that if we manage to trap 5 winning lottery numbers in the selected 12 numbers, we should expect to get at least one 4-number prize. So why not use a wheel that guarantees the main prize, we hear you ask?

Quick Excel calculation shows that 12 lottery numbers can make 924 different lottery combinations. So by playing all 924 combinations, you'd be covering all the possibilities. Therefore if 6 winning numbers were in your selection, you'd get the jackpot! A wheel that guarantees the jackpot is called a full wheel and it does so by generating every possible combination from given set of numbers. It guarantees you win the lottery jackpot if and only if you get 6 winning numbers in your selection. And that is not as easy as it sounds!

So since we're not going to generate 924 combinations, we're going to use an abbreviated 12-number wheel that generates a mere 22 combinations. Let's choose 12 numbers then, here they are: 2;8;10;14;17;18;20;26; 30;33;42;47. Now by using the wheel, here are the generated combinations.

Now if you feed these combinations into Lottorino you'll see that some of them score low Lottorino (marked as LL above), meaning that these combinations are biased in some way and you'd be better off playing other combinations with higher Lottorino score. But remember - Lottorino analyses combination as a whole, not parts of it! And since we're doing wheeling and hoping to get a 4-number prize, we will not bother removing these combinations as they may generate these prizes.
