The £113million EuroMillions jackpot was won by a single British ticket last Friday and still remains unclaimed - losing £8,500 in interest a day.
Camelot's claim line closed at 3pm yesterday without anyone calling to say they had won - and the ticket holder has 177 days from today to instantly became the 589th richest person in the country. They have more cash than Rod Stewart, worth a reported £110million, and David Bowie, who has £100million. Camelot, who wait two weeks before revealing where the ticket was bought, said: "We have plenty of champagne on ice."
The winner, Britain's biggest in a lottery, could earn £6 interest every minute from this morning with the fortune only transferred on a weekday.
Well it wasn't me, but it would be perfect for a syndicate!
It wasn't me either. Although my husband says he did play too but cannot remember where he put the ticket, so there is still hope. Let's wait and see for Camelot to disclose the location of purchase and if it's in Kent, I will feel panicky and will turn the house upside down to find it!
